WUB takes reasonable steps to protect students from foreseeable harm and maintains a tested emergency plan for fire, natural disaster, medical emergency, violence or intrusion on campus, and other serious incidents. If you are ever worried that a student is at risk of serious harm — including self-harm, violence, abuse, exploitation, trafficking or forced marriage — tell us immediately; don’t try to handle it alone.
🔥 Fire & Evacuation
Fire equipment, evacuation routes and signage are maintained, and drills are held at least once a year at every campus.
👮 Campus Security
Security staff are there to protect students, and particular attention is paid to the safety of women students — lighting, safe routes, secure transport for late classes, and a way to raise an alarm.
⚡ Rapid Assessment
A safeguarding report is assessed within 1 working day, with immediate protective steps where there is risk.
