Counselling & Wellbeing

🚨

In an emergency or risk to safety?

If there is a risk to your life or safety, you will be seen the same working day. Out of hours, use the Get help now crisis pathway. Do not wait for an appointment.

The Student Counselling and Wellbeing Centre offers free, confidential counselling to every enrolled student β€” individually, in groups, and through wellbeing programmes. Counselling is delivered by qualified professionals in a private setting, under a code of ethics. You can come to us yourself; you do not need anyone’s permission.

  • Counselling records are kept separate from your academic and disciplinary records. They never appear on your transcript and are never shared with employers.
  • You will never face any academic or disciplinary disadvantage for seeking counselling or for disclosing a mental-health condition.
