How we prevent it and how you report it
👁️ Active Monitoring
A Bullying and Ragging Prevention Committee and a mobile Anti-Ragging Squad keep watch and can act immediately.
📜 Annual Undertaking
Every student and guardian signs an undertaking against ragging at admission and each year; staff give a matching pledge.
📥 Anonymous Reporting
Complaint boxes and a digital drop box let you report — including anonymously — and CCTV covers high-risk areas.
🤝 Mentorship
Every first-year student has a named senior-student mentor and a named staff contact from the first week.
What happens when you report
- Your report is acknowledged within 1 working day and investigated, with a report to the head of the institution, within 7 working days.
- You will not be victimised for reporting in good faith. Affected students are offered counselling and academic accommodation.
- Penalties are graded to the seriousness of the conduct, up to suspension or, in the gravest cases, expulsion.
